  1. Hi Rachael

I came across you on Linkedin ,liked what I read and what you and the team are doing here. At Family F.C we are in the process of putting out a part time job role out on Linkedin but thought I would share it with you first to see if you or anyone else in your team might be interested? See below. Would love to hear back from you either way before I post the role. Regards Tim.

    The Position
    Part Time Marketing/Content Managers
We are looking for people who enjoy writing, know their sport (especially the beautiful game,) and their way around the usual social media platforms. They will be interested in business, marketing strategy and would like to work on a real live brand putting their skills into practice. This role is designed to NOT interfere with any Uni studies, but as an addition to their learning and hopefully, more interesting than working in a bar/restaurant in their spare time. This is a fully remote position with flexible working hours.

    Us:
FFC ‘Family Football Coach’ is a digital business that soft launched an app in the UK in 2022 to test the market and the comms surrounding it. https://familyfc.com . It is aimed at parents of primary school children (ages 4-11yr olds). It is designed to help parents coach their kids to play football, while keeping fit and healthy and using the help of digital to lead the way .The app has been developed alongside Matt Jarvis, who also played for England, Wolverhampton Wonderers and West Ham and Norwich. We also have a number of coaches/school teachers in the UK who hold UEFA certifications and worked with us in its inception and developed the programmes. We have also partnered with KitAid Charity in the UK as part of our CSR pledge.

    You:
An excellent command of the English language, verbal and written.
Probably taking an undergraduate/masters marketing/communications/sports degree.
A clear understanding of, and enjoy using all social media platforms, including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and TikTok.
Strong initiative – help us come up with new ideas, strategies, news articles, content across the business.

    What we offer:

Work experience on a real live digital brand. You’d be part of a start-up business that is taking off in the UK, then rolling out to the US, and hopefully into other markets across the world. (There is always the potential to join the team in a full time role as we grow and expand.)
The opportunity to develop and implement Digital Marketing plans across the different social channels . You can be involved as much or as little in the business, learning/creating/implementing SEO / PPC campaigns and deploying the strategies we develop around this.
You’ll be developing and deploying your own content learning about our CMS and other strategic tools we use in the business such as SEM Rush and Sprout Social .
Working hours are flexible to fit around Uni studies
You will gain great experience in a start up digital marketing business as you’ll work alongside FFC founders – the CEO (he built a Digital Marketing Agency in the UK and recently sold it to a big Dutch comms business, and has been involved in a number of other successful start-up companies), the Creative Director, and our Digital Strategist.
It goes without saying we are a fun team as well 😊
In the first instance email us at tim@familyfc.com, include your resume, and let us know why you’d be perfect for this role!
